1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the LinguaPulse mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

LinguaPulse provides AI-powered English speaking practice through voice conversations. The App uses speech recognition, AI dialogue generation, and text-to-speech technology to simulate realistic English conversations for professional development. Features include:

• Real-time voice conversation practice with an AI partner
• Detailed written feedback on grammar, vocabulary, and fluency after each session
• Session history and practice streaks
• Freemium access with one free session per day

3. User Accounts

You may use LinguaPulse with a device-based session or by signing in with Apple or Google. If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information during sign-up
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use LinguaPulse. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

LinguaPulse offers a free tier (1 session/day) and a paid Pro subscription with unlimited sessions. Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. By subscribing:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings
• Prices may change with advance notice
• Refunds are governed by the applicable app store's refund policy

5. Third-Party Services

LinguaPulse integrates with third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies:

• OpenAI — speech-to-text, AI conversation, and text-to-speech processing
• Apple / Google — authentication and subscription management
• Cloudflare — backend infrastructure
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its servers
• Submit audio content that is abusive, harmful, or violates the rights of others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of LinguaPulse — including the App, its design, text, graphics, and code — are owned by LinguaPulse and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of your personal data. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

LinguaPulse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate in all cases. The App is intended as a supplementary practice tool and is not a substitute for professional language instruction.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LinguaPulse and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Paid subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or app store policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts, except where prohibited by law.
